Living the Dream

Moon and stars are sources of light. Light are always around us, sometimes bowing down at our feet to guide us to the next step — the ability to take the leap forward. Look up. Look up to the moon and stars. Always look in the direction that you want to move. Regret looks back but faith looks up.

Everyone has a dream. Dreams are the resort of our imagination. Dream pre-play the future; memory replay the past. You dream yours and I dream mine. Money follows vision. It’s the idea that starts the money. It can transform your life. They are the greatest substance of all great achievement.

Your perspective is what you look at. If you look at $0 in your bank account and you’ll see only $0. If you look through it, you’ll see infinity. Your potential is what you have not achieved yet.

Dream a big dream. If you want to accomplish anything you never have, you need to do something you have never done. Dream more than others, think practical. Expect more than others, think possible.

There are 3 levels of dreamers. Which one do you want to be?

  • Level 1: Those who wish for it.
  • Level 2: Those who wait for it.
  • Level 3: Those who work for it.

However, living the dream you dream is not easy. When God gives you a dream, it will take hard work. Every dream will face discouragement. It causes frustration, to deceive you by messing up your ability to execute the strategy. Prepare your mind for that.

No one is born great. It takes time and effort for one. “Great people are born great when others are sleeping.” — African Proverb. Be like the Level 3 dreamers work hard for it to pursue their dreams.

Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare. There is no happiness without action. Quit the wrong stuff and stick with the right stuff. Are you willing to be the steward to someone else’s dream until yours come to pass?

The clearer you dream, the easier it is for the subconscious mind to generate awareness of information that will be helpful in making a dream a reality. Dream in living, vivid colors. You can’t mind your past if you don’t push it through the pain. Don’t allow your inconsistency and unfaithfulness to discourage you.

Here’s a story of a broken crayon to share with you.

There was a little girl who broke a crayon while coloring. All she had was one crayon. Seeing her crayon broken into two pieces, her eyes began to well up in tears. Her grandfather came by and asked her what happened.

“GP (Grandpa in short), I broke my crayon...” The little girl cried.

Grandpa consoled her, “Well… since it’s broken, you can give one to your little cousin. As for the other piece, you can keep it.”

The little girl looked up with a puzzled face, a little confused why Grandpa said that to her. Grandpa took one of the broken crayon and showed her that it could still color. Just like normal crayon, broken crayon produces color. Amazed by the broken crayon, she continued coloring on her own.

You can’t give anything that is not first broken. Many of us are broken. We made mistakes before. We messed up our lives before. Even though you made mistakes, it’s alright. Continue to dream. Never stop taking taking another step forward. Remember, broken crayon still colors. Your past prepares you for your dream.
